1st 2014 Posting

Hi, Everybody!
Thank you for emails I received after I re-activated my Blog on Sunday. Unfortunately, the posted pictures (and stories) are from 2012! You know the one with Daddy recuperating from a stingray sting?

Well, it's now June 23, 2014 and he's actually just fine and I'm still waiting for my 2014 trip to start. So, the plan is - move out of the house July 9th, into the motorhome, and go to Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation at Kure Beach for a few days. I overheard M&D say, "We close on the house July 11th," and I think that means we'll get some dog food and treats money. We won't really start traveling till July 14th!

So, back to sleep and I'll be in touch soon!

Digging horseshoe crab shells

Mom made a video of it, but it would load. I'll try again another day.

In the meantime, my day is spent doing so many things!

Here, I'm looked for more fish while Daddy rests his ankle after a stingray stabbed him! He had to have antibiotics and it hurt a LOT!

and kept my eye on Mom who went to the bait bucket to get a little mullet so Daddy could catch more fish. She came back with a DEAD one!

Today - fishing!

Okay, I'm ready, let's go!
Throw it out there and I'll get it
Aww, Dad, you missed it!
I got this one, go ahead, take it
Here's another and I'll get you one more
This is it!
He looks pretty proud, but you can see who actually got it. (on the left swimming out for another?)
Wonder if I'll get to taste some of it!?

Sand and more sand and...

We walk to this lagoon almost every morning (about a mile) just so I can swim for the ball...

...and watch a diving heron

Just before Mom and I watch this BEAUTIFUL sunset (Daddy was there, too, but he took the picture)

Goodnight!

On vacation!

Since we've been in Cocoa Beach, I've been walking, swimming, searching (for rabbits), playing and sleeping every single day!

Come on, Daddy, throw it!

I'm ready, go!

He did and I had to go swim - now that really upset me - NOT!

This is the lagoon we pass everyday - sometimes there are manatee's swimming in it - I'll try to catch some them and take a picture, but they are pretty bashful.

Here today and gone...today!

Look at this HUGE rainbow!
I started looking for the pot of gold. I didn’t find it, but I did find a neat plane.
(Can you see it under the rainbow on the right?) Here's a close-up:
It has writing on the side saying "United States of America" and I thought maybe it was Air Force One, but it wasn't
I tried to get closer, but, like the rainbow, it was here then gone AND me, too - bye!

Mom finished using the computer!

Yea - I can work on my Blog again. I get so far behind when I can't do it everyday, SO -
I have birthday coming in May (hint, hint) and I think I'll ask for my own computer.

This posting goes all the way back to February 28th - wow, that was a really long time ago! Rather than clutter up the page with words, I'll just do pictures with a few comments.

This motorhome was right across the road from us (Winter Garden). I think they've been there for a while!

Hooray, we're on the road...
...and look where we're headed...

Big water, here we come! Just over behind those trees and white buildings is the Atlantic Ocean!

As soon as we parked, Daddy brought in a giant cardboard box. Boxes are another favorite - I love ripping them up and I did a pretty good job on this one.

That wasn't the best part, though, look what was in it...
I have a new sofa - no more sleeping on the floor - hip-hip-hooray!

So ended my first 2012 day in Cocoa Beach watching the sun go down on the Banana River
