Mom and Dad warned them to put all their stuff away and keep closets and drawers closed, but they forgot. Hee-hee – good news for me, Dog-on-the-Spot, because snatched something everytime they didn't remember. Stealing things was fun again - Mom and Dad had quit chasing me when I stole something, but the kids didn't know that, so they’d chase me all over the house – happy times!
But, I'm getting ahead of myself - the Allens got here first - John, Kim, Nicole and Nutmeg. Right after they arrived, they suggested we go to the beach. Hmmm, that sound interesting, but I had no idea what it was. But, on a sunny, cool day, we all piled in cars and drove for a seem
ed like a whole day, but Mom said it was about 20 minute, and finally stopped. We got out of the cars and had to walk up steps to a wood bridge thing. We got to the top and I could see a huge bunch of sand and absolutely and positively the BIGGGEST water I've ever seen it went on forever and ever! 
It was weird, though, because everytime I went to the water, it would chase me back onto the beach, plus it was really, really cold. I didn’t like that all but Nutmeg didn’t mind. But, hey, she was almost 13 years old and, even though this was her first time at the beach, she loved it.

Well, when it was all finished, we agreed we had a good time. Daddy said we'll go back again when the weather and water get warmer; maybe I'll like it better then.
