Hooray, Florida!

Lazy, lazy – I skipped yesterday (February 3^rd) for a couple reasons:

First, I used (most of) my allowance to buy a new camera – Daddy paid the rest – and I was trying to figure it out. It’s really difficult without opposing thumbs! But, I got it! I had Mom shoot this picture of me – am I cute, or what!?

We left Kings Bay fairly early in the morning, but not before I walked to the water. Oh, and I got a new tennis ball thrower (Chuck-It) and Mom and I played with for a while. Not long enough because we had to get back to our trip to Florida.

Well, we were at Georgia I-95, Exit 1, so it didn’t take much time to cross into Florida.

I saw this store, with lots of stuff for hunting and fishing, and tried to stop. But, you know the story – we had to get going.

We did manage a rest stop and, when one of these visitors left a “present” on the grass, Daddy offered its people a bag. “Oh, no, thanks, we don’t pick up messes at rest stops!” I was really disgusted! “My people” always pick up my messes. This is the kind of dog owner who ruins it for the rest of us!

We’re here – Sumter Oaks Escapee RV Park, Bushnell, Florida – this is my front yard! Behind me is the rig and a bunch of other motorhomes. We were really lucky to get this spot.

After this short rest, I went for a walk, Hey, Shelby, this guy looks like you but much bigger! His name is “Happy” and he really is – he jumps all over when he sees me. We can’t wait to run around and play – but for now we are stuck on leashes. (Next week, there’s supposed to be a dog park ready – that will be super fantastic!. I’ll let you know.)
